I’m trying to figure out what to write about today. It was a pretty boring day – I took a half day at work, came home and played on facebook all afternoon. Bob and I went out to Walmart and then got Burger King for supper, more playing on facebook, we played Uno for a little while until he got frustrated with how boring it is with only two people, and…here I am. Nothing particularly bad happened, nothing particulary good happened. It was just…a day. I’m tired and could just go to bed now, but I don’t really want to go to bed, I’d rather watch TV for a while. Or play games. Or listen to a podcast. Or…anything but the boredom of sleep.
Geez I’m not even sure I’m going to be able to babble on for my required 250 words today. Hmmm…
Today I saw…a lot of the color yellow – there is a tree in my back yard that is almost completely turned and it’s all yellow.
Today I heard…a squirrel rustling in the leaves on the ground, scurrying about collecting food for the winter.
Today I smelled…Bob. He kinda smelled pretty bad for a while there, but then he showered and he smelled clean and fresh.
Today I tasted…chocolate chip ice cream from Stewarts that was really fresh and creamy and I could taste the vanilla in it and the chocolate chips exploded with flavor when I bit into them.
Today I felt…the water of my shower grow hotter as it warmed me up from being outside at 7am when it was 30 degrees out.
